Setting up the monitor Installing the monitor stand IMPORTANT: Do not touch the surface of the LCD panel. Pressure on the panel may cause nonuniformity of color or disorientation of the liquid crystals. If this occurs, the screen will not recover to its normal condition. 1. Position the monitor facedown on a flat surface covered by a soft clean cloth. 2. Slide the tabs on the top of the stand's mounting bracket into the slots on the display head (1), and then press the bottom of the bracket down (2). There will be an audible click when the stand is properly seated. Make sure that the stand is properly attached to the display head before use. 4 Chapter 1 Getting started
