NOTE Using Your 3.5-Inch Floppy Disk Drive Instructions in this chapter assume that for the B1000/C3000 workstation, you are using the HP-UX 10.20 operating system and the Workstation Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) for HP-UX 10.20 (June, 1999), and for the C3700 workstation, you are using the HP-UX 11.0 operating system and the Workstation Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) for HP-UX 11.0 (November, 1999) or HP-UX 11i operating system and the Hardware Enablement Bundle (HWE) for HP-UX 11i (June, 2001) with the HP CDE interface. When examples of user input are given in this chapter, enter them at the command-line prompt in an HP CDE terminal window. Some procedures in this chapter require you to log in as superuser (root).
