Troubleshooting PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE Power Light is off • Unit is not plugged in • No power at outlet Peculiar Odor Excessive Noise • If new unit • If unit is in use, the odor may be a dirty water reservoir, old tank water or an old wick • Unit is not level • Low water level • Wick was not soaked SOLUTION • Plug unit in • Push POWER button to turn the power on • Check circuits, fuses, try a different outlet • Empty any water and clean and refill tank • Replace wick • Place unit on a flat, even surface • Check the water level. Refill the reservoir if the water is low. • Remove wick, soak for 2 minutes and replace wick Note: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
