for blockages
continuing
with each
step until the blockage
is found:
A. lf a blockage
occursduring floor
cleaning:
Turn cleaner
OFF
and disconnect
from
electrical
outlet.
1. Checkfullnessof dirt cup and filter
assembly;
empty cup and clean
filters
if
needed.
Check
dirt duct
2. Removescrews0n lower back of cleaner
handle
(A)
and removelower dirt duct (B).
3. Clear
blockage
from dirt duct sections.
Checking
under
bottomplate
4. Turn cleaner
OFF
and unplug,
5. Remove
bot-
tom plate,belt and
agitator(see
"The
belt" section).
Look into opening
(C)
for blockages
and
6. Remove
agitator
shield(see
Fig. 3-16)
and remove
any loose
debriswhich may
have
accumulated
under
it.

guard and turbine
as described
in
Figs.3-21,3-22
and 3-29.
Remove
any block-
age from turbine
channel
{D).
Replace
belt tur-
bine, brush roll,
belt guard and bot-
tom plate.
