GENERAL MAINTENANCE 6. GENERAL MAINTENANCE THE BRUSHROLL When to Replace WARNING - Risk of personal injury - brushroll may suddenly restart - unplug before cleaning or servicing. When brushroll brushes are worn, it should be replaced. To check condition of brushes, move the edge of a card across bottom plate while manually turning brushroll (Fig. 6.16). To maintain cleaning effectiveness, replace brushroll if brushes do not touch card. How to Remove Brushroll Turn the cleaner on and select the Bare Floor setting.
