TROUBLESHOOTING 7. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING: TO REDUCE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY - UNPLUG CLEANER BEFORE SERVICING CLEANER. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE Cleaner won't run. Cord not firmly plugged in. POSSIBLE SOLUTION Plug cord in firmly. No voltage in wall plug. Agitator brushroll Brushroll is turned off. brushes aren't turning. Brushroll is obstructed. Cleaner wont pick up. Incorrect carpet height setting. Dirt cup full. Replace fuse or reset circuit. Select a suitable carpet mode setting. Disconnect cleaner from electrical outlet. Turn cleaner over and remove any debris that have accumulated on the brushroll. Select another carpet height setting. Empty dirt cup. Primary filter dirty. Clean the primary filter (see page 13). Cleaner hard to push. Cleaning tools won't pick up. Blockage in system. Incorrect carpet height setting. Dirt cup full. Primary filter dirty. Clear blockage. Select a higher carpet height setting. Empty dirt cup. Clean the primary filter (see page 13). Blockage in system. Clear blockage. Powered pet hair cleaning tool agitator brushroll won't turn. Power Button Flashing. Too much pressure being applied to tool. Broken or worn belt. Low cleaner suction. Brushroll is obstructed. Continue using tool applying light pressure. Replace belt. Refer to item under "Cleaner won't pick up". Turn cleaner off and disconnect from electrical outlet. Turn cleaner over and remove any debris that have accumulated on the brushroll. Thermal protector activated. Turn cleaner off and disconnect from electrical outlet. Allow cleaner to cool for 30 minutes. Clean Filters (see pages 13-15) and check for obstruction in hose.
