Preheat griddle according to the guide below, then switch to the desired cook setting. The griddle can become heated when using the surrounding burners. I Do not overheat the griddle. Leaving the griddle burner on at HI for an extended amount of time without food can damage the non-stick coating. I Avoid using metal utensils with sharp points or rough sharp edges which might damage the griddle surface. I Do not cut foods on the griddle.
