Recommended cutting equipment

for USA

Following is a list of recommended cutting equipment for

Husqvarna 330i and 535i XP. This model equipped with

either of the listed guide bar and saw chain

combination(s), fulfills the requirements according to UL

60745-1 and UL 60745-2-13.

Chainsaw models Husqvarna 330i and 535i XP met the

kickback performance requirements of UL 60745-2-13

when tested with the combinations of bars and saw

chains listed below. The saw chain Husqvarna H38 is

also classified as a low kickback saw chain since is met

the requirements for low kickback saw chain outlined in

UL 60745-2-13. We recommend to use only the listed

combinations of bars and saw chains for chainsaw

models Husqvarna 330i and 535i XP. Other chainsaw

models may not meet the kickback requirements when

equipped with the listed bar and saw chain

combinations.

Guide bar and saw chain

combinations

Following is a list of recommended cutting equipment for

Husqvarna 330i and 535i XP. The listed combination(s)

of powerhead, guide bar and saw chain meet all

requirements outlined in Canadian Standards

Association Z62.1-11 (Chain saws) and Z62.3-11 (Chain

Saw Kickback).

Furthermore the saw chain Husqvarna H38 is evaluated

and listed as a Type C Low Kickback Saw chain

according to the provisions in Z62.3-11.

Kickback information

The guide bar nose radius is determined by either the

maximum number of teeth in the nose sprocket or the

corresponding maximum nose radius of a solid bar.

As we are listing the maximum guide bar nose radius,

you may use a guide bar with smaller nose radius than

in our list. For guide bars of the same length, all

sprocket-nose guide bars of the same pitch and having

the same number of sprocket teeth may be considered

to have equivalent kickback energy.

The following cutting equipment is approved for the

models Husqvarna 330i and 535i XP.

Filing equipment and filing angles

Using Husqvarna file gauge will give you the correct

filing angles. We recommend you to always use a

Husqvarna file gauge to restore the sharpness of the

saw chain. The part numbers are given in the table

below.

If you do not know which saw chain you have on your

product, turn to your servicing dealer.
