Problem Cause Engine does not start. The drive of the blades is engaged. Refer to PTO (Power Take-Off) button on page 4. Steering controls are not locked in the parking brake position. The battery is too weak. Refer to To charge the battery on page 18. There is dirt in the fuel line. The shut-off valve of fuel supply is closed or in the incorrect position. The fuel filter or fuel line is clogged. The ignition system is damaged. The starter motor does not turn the engine over. The battery is too weak. Refer to To charge the battery on page 18. The connection at the cable connectors on the battery terminals is bad. Refer to To clean the battery on page 18. A fuse is blown. Refer to Fuses on page 5. The OPC is defective. Refer to Operation conditions on page 9. The engine does not run smoothly. The fuel filter or fuel jet is clogged. The check valve on the fuel tank cap is clogged. The fuel tank is almost empty. The spark plug is defective. Incorrect fuel mix or fuel type. There is water in the fuel. The air filter is clogged. The engine apparently has no power. The air filter is clogged.
