Introducing the xSeries 306 Type 8836 server The IBM® ™ xSeries® 306 Type 8836 server is ideally suited for Eserver networking environments that require superior microprocessor performance, efficient memory management, and flexibility. Performance, ease of use, and reliability were key considerations in the design of your server. These design features make it possible for you to customize the system hardware to meet your business needs. Your server comes with a limited warranty. For more information about the terms of your warranty, see the warranty appendix in the Installation Guide. Your server contains IBM Enterprise X-Architecture™ technologies, which help increase performance and reliability. For more information, see "What your server offers" on page 4 and "Reliability, availability, and serviceability features" on page 5.
