1 PREPARATION I Belt clip attachment 1 Attach the belt clip using the supplied screw. Conveniently attaches to a belt. I Battery installation Install 3 R6 (AA) size alkaline cell batteries or the optional BP-202 BATTERY PACK as illustrated below. q Remove the battery case cover from the transceiver. w Install 3×R6 (AA) size alka- line cell batteries or BP202. • Be sure to observe the cor- rect polarity. BP-202 Alkaline cells NOTE: Keep battery contacts clean. It's good idea to clean battery terminals once a week. 1
