DSC OPERATION 9 ■■ DSC settings On the "DSC" screen, you can make settings of the DSC call related items. [MENU] > Settings > DSC 1 Position Input CH Auto Switch 2 See "Entering the position and time" on page 23 for details. Individual ID See "Entering an Individual or Group ID" on page 22 for details. Group ID See "Entering an Individual or Group ID" on page 22 for details. Auto ACK The Auto ACK function automatically sends an Acknowledgement when an appropriate Request is received. zz Individual ACK Auto (Able): Automatically sends "Able Comply." Auto (Unable): A utomatically sends "Unable Comply." Manual: Manually sends an Acknowledgement. zz Position ACK Auto (Able): Automatically sends "Able Comply." Manual: Manually sends an Acknowledgement. zz Test ACK Auto: Automatically sends an Acknowledgement. Manual: Manually sends an Acknowledgement. Select whether or not to automatically 3 switch to channel 16 or the specified channel, or ignore the call. 4 LL The function is automatically set to "Accept" when the transceiver is turned OFF. 5 Accept: After receiving a DSC call, the transceiver 6 remains on the operating channel for 10 seconds. 7 After that, the transceiver automatically switches 8 to the channel that is specified on the DSC call. 9 Ignore (TEMP): After receiving a DSC call, if you do not push 10 in 10 seconds, the transceiver ignores the 11 call, and then remains on the current operating 12 channel. Manual (TEMP): A fter receiving a DSC 13 call, you can select whether or not to accept 14 the received DSC call. 15 DSC Switch Select whether or not to receive and send 16 DSC calls. LL You can send Distress calls despite of this 17 setting. ON: Receives and sends DSC 18 calls. OFF (TEMP): Does not receive or send DSC calls until you turn OFF the transceiver. OFF: Does not receive or send DSC calls. 42
