Keep the keys in a safe place, out of the reach of children. SPA JET UNIT OPERATION The spa jet unit features four hydro-therapy jets, two suction inlets, and a filter housing. The four hydro-therapy jets, located on the front of the wet side jet pack, focus the water massage on your back. Replace the spa cover and allow the water to continue to heat. THE HEATING SYSTEM OF YOUR SPA Jets The heating system in your spa is designed to be economical for long-term use. Combined with the fact that water absorbs heat very slowly, the effect is that it will take 1 to 3 days (depending on the room temperature) to heat the water in the spa. The good news is that once the water is heated, it will maintain its temperature for a relatively low cost. You can reduce the waiting period by filling the spa with hot water, but be aware that the spa holds more water than your water heater. Make sure the spa cover is on and that it is tight while the water is heating. The chart below shows approximate heating times for different air temperatures with a water temperature of 60° to 64°F. The buckles can be locked by inserting the key and turning it clockwise a quarter turn. The suction covers should always be in place over the suction vent. Never operate the spa without the suction covers in place.
