TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE ENGLISH If the unit does not perform properly when operated as instructed in this Owner's Manual, check the unit, consulting the following checklist. PROBLEM No power No operation by infrared remote control CORRECTIVE ACTION • Make sure the power plug is connected to an AC outlet. • Make sure the power is turned on. • Check if the power plug is connected to an AC outlet. • Check the batteries in the remote control. • Aim the remote control directly at the remote sensor. If necessary, remove all the obstacles between the sensor and the remote control. • You have to be within 23 feet of the unit. • Check if the correct mode is selected. If not switch the mode by pressing [SELECT], whichever you need. TV Mode Sometimes a performance problem can be easily solved by checking seemingly apparent but often overlooked possibilities. Before arranging for service, check these items. It could save your time and money. PROBLEM No picture or sound No picture or poor picture on the unit No sound or poor sound Bars On Screen Picture Distorted or Blurred Picture Rolls Vertically Lines or Streaks in Picture No Color Poor Reception on Some Channels Ghosts in Picture Weak Picture Sound OK, Picture Poor CORRECTIVE ACTION • Make sure the AC cord is connected to an AC outlet. • Check antenna connection. • Press [SELECT] to select TV mode.
