Insignia 32" LED-LCD HDTV, 1080p Problem Good picture, but no sound. Audio noise or static. Solution • Increase the volume. • Press MUTE to make sure that the sound is not turned off. • Make sure that the audio mode is set to STEREO or MONO. For more information, see "Selecting the audio mode" on page 19. • Make sure that headphones are not connected to your TV. When headphones are connected, sound from the TV speakers is muted. • Move radio frequency equipment, such as cell phones, away from your TV. Remote control Problem Remote control does not work. Remote control does not control connected HDMI devices. Solution • Make sure that the remote control batteries are installed correctly. For more information, see "Hiding channels" on page 20. • On the Parental Controls menu, enter 9999 as the password, then set a new password. For more information, see "Setting or changing the password" on page 23. • If a setting or option is grayed out, it is not available in the current mode. • When you are using your TV, the temperature inside the cabinet increases.
