Insignia NS-HD3113 HD Radio Shelf System with iPod Dock Problem Cause/Solution Static or noise when playing the radio • Make sure that the station is tuned correctly and that the station has a good signal. • Try another station. • If you are playing an AM station, rotate your shelf system to improve the reception. • If you are playing an FM station, extend the antenna wire to improve the reception. Maintaining Cleaning DVDs and CDs A dirty DVD or CD may not play correctly. To clean a CD: • With a soft cloth, wipe the disc in a straight line from the center to the edge. Caution Do not use any solvent, such as record spray, thinner, or benzene, to clean a DVD or CD. Cleaning your shelf system To clean your shelf system, follow these guidelines: • Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with plain, luke-warm water to clean the exterior of your shelf system. • Never use solvents such as benzene or other strong chemical cleaners because these could damage your shelf system's finish. • Do not let liquid drip into the inside of your shelf system.
