Step 6: Option C (outside top exhaust) - Insert the exhaust adapter You'll need: 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Exhaust adapter Sheet metal screw 1 Set the microwave in its upright position, with the top facing up. 2 Remove the screw that holds the blower plate to the microwave, then remove the screw that secures the blower motor to the microwave. Screw Blower plate Back of microwave Blower motor screw 3 Carefully pull out the blower unit. The wires are long enough to let you adjust the unit. Fan blade openings facing forward End R End L Back of microwave 4 Roll the blower unit 90° so that the fan blade openings are facing out the top of the microwave. Step 6: Option C (outside top exhaust) - Insert the exhaust adapter

Set the microwave in its upright position, with the top facing up.

Remove the screw that holds the blower plate to the microwave, then remove the screw that secures the blower motor
to the microwave.

Carefully pull out the blower unit. The wires are long enough to let you adjust the unit.

Roll the blower unit 90° so that the fan blade openings are facing out the top of the microwave.
