Clock Commands no clock timezone Parameters • hours-offset - Hours difference from UTC. (Range: -12 hours to +13 hours) • minutes-offset - Minutes difference from UTC. (Range: 0-59) • acronym - The acronym of the time zone. (Range: Up to 4 characters) Default Configuration Clock set to UTC. Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines The system internally keeps time in UTC, so this command is used only for display purposes and when the time is manually set. Example The following example sets the timezone to 6 hours difference from UTC. Console(config)# clock timezone -6 zone CST clock summer-time The clock summer-time Global Configuration mode command configures the system to automatically switch to summer time (daylight saving time). To configure the software not to automatically switch to summer time, use the no form of this command.
