1 Device Description This document provides basic information on how to install and establish a basic configuration for the Intel® Blade Server Ethernet Switch Module SBCEGBESW1/ SBCEGBESW10. For the latest updates on documentation and software, check the Intel support website at http://support.intel.com. Note: Support for a 3rd or 4th Ethernet switch module requires installation of an Intel® Blade Server Ethernet Expansion Card SBGBE. The Intel® Blade Server Ethernet Switch Module SBCEGBESW1/SBCEGBESW10 is installed in one of the I/O module bays of the Intel® Blade Server Chassis SBCE, which is a system that supports up to 14 server modules and up to four Ethernet switch modules. Note: Before proceeding, read the release notes for this product. The release notes can be downloaded from the Intel support website at http://support.intel.com. For more information about the components of the information panel, see Chapter 3 "Information Panel LEDs and External Ports" on page 17. For more information about the MAC address, see "IP addresses and SNMP community names" on page 21.
