Hardware Installations and Upgrades Installing an Additional Hot Swap Power Supply Module (BRP configuration only) Note: This install procedure only applies to a chassis with redundant power supply capability. DO NOT perform this install procedure if your chassis has a fixed power supply Warning: Hazardous conditions, power supply: Hazardous voltage, current, and energy levels are present inside the power supply. There are no user-serviceable parts inside it; servicing of the power supply should be done only by technically qualified personnel. Note: For Intel® Server Board S3000AH with SC5299BRP configuration only: Although a redundant power supply may be added to the SC5299BRP chassis, the Intel® Server Board S3000AH does not have a power supply failure detection mechanism in place to support it. The P12 cable will be left unconnected. 1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed in Appendix A, "Safety Information". 2.
