PM4i Peel-Off (Self-Strip) Kit Installation Instructions Use these instructions to install and configure the Peel-Off (Self-Strip) Kit for the EasyCoder® PM4i Bar Code Label Printer. The Peel-off kit allows the printer to automatically separate self-adhesive labels from the liner immediately after printing. Note: If the kit comes factory installed, you only need to route your media, and configure the Label Taken Sensor. To install the Peel-Off Kit 1 Open the side door and remove front door by pressing down on the two tabs that secure the front door to the printer. Side door Front door

To install the Peel-Off Kit	1
1 Open the side door and remove front door by pressing down on the two tabs that secure the front door to the printer.	1
2 Attach the Peel-off kit to the printer by snapping it on the two hinge pins that held the front door. Note that you may have to slide the kit in at an angle.	2
3 Route the media for Peel-Off mode by raising the printhead and routing the media as shown in the illustration below.	2
4 Close the side door and raise the Peel-off kit by the handle.	3
5 Adjust the Label Taken Sensor (LTS) so that the media feeds correctly.	3
a Press the Setup key to enter the Setup menu.	3
b Use the Right arrow key to browse the Setup menu. Once you get to the Print Defs screen, press the Enter key to enter the Print Defs screen.	3
c Press the Right Arrow key until you get to the LTS screen and press the Enter key to enter the LTS Adjust screen.	3
d Press the Enter key to self-calibrate the LTS.	3
e Wait for the prompt to remove your test label, then remove the label. After the label has been removed, press the Enter key.	3
f Your printer is configured for Peel-Off mode. Press the Setup key to exit the Setup menu.	3
a Press the Setup key to enter the Setup menu.	4
b Use the Right arrow key to browse the Setup menu. Once you get to the Configuration screen, press the Enter key to enter the Configuration screen.	4
c Press the Right Arrow key until you get to the LTS Calibration screen and press the Enter key to enter the LTS Calibration screen.	4
d Press the Enter key to self-calibrate the LTS.	4
e Wait for the prompt to remove your test label, then remove the label. After the label has been removed, press the Enter key.	4
f Your printer is configured for Peel-Off mode. Press the Setup key to exit the Setup menu.	4
