5. Adjust the wheel locks. Refer to Wheel Lock Adjustment on page 88.  Only 12-inch rear wheel is shown. If necessary, remove the permanent axles from the packaged container. 2. Apply Loctite 242 onto the threads inside the nut. 3. Install permanent axle through lock washer and the rear wheel and axle plate. 4. Securely tighten the wheel to the wheelchair frame with nut.  Only 12-inch rear wheel is shown. Installing/Removing Rear Wheels
Permanent Axle
1.
If necessary, remove the permanent axles from the packaged container.
2.
Apply Loctite 242 onto the threads inside the nut.
3.
Install permanent axle through lock washer and the rear wheel and axle plate.
4.
Securely tighten the wheel to the wheelchair frame with nut.
5.
Repeat STEPS 2-4 for other rear wheel assembly.
Only 12-inch rear wheel is shown. All other wheels will install/remove in the same manner.
To remove rear wheels, reverse STEPS 3-6 this procedure.
