5 Others Troubleshooting Before sending the unit to your authorized dealer for repair, please check the following points. The following situations are not malfunctions. ■ You do not need to worry about the following situations if there is no abnormality on the screen. ● Part of the top surface or front of the unit is hot. ● A creaking sound is heard from the unit. ● An operating sound is heard from the inside of the unit. ● Color smear occurs on some screens. ■ Perform the following operations when the unit is unable to operate normally due to external static or noise. ① When the unit is in standby mode, please pull out the power plug, then insert again. ② Press the power button on the unit to turn on the power again. ■ A sound may be heard when the lamp is off but there is no danger. ■ D-ILA device is manufactured using high-precision technology but there may be some missing pixels or pixels that remain permanently lit up. Power is not supplied Is the power cord disconnected? Insert the power cord (plug) firmly. Is the lamp cover properly shut? Is the lamp in Cool Down mode? Remove the power plug when the unit is in standby mode and close the lamp cover properly. After that, insert the plug again. After the Cool Down mode is complete, turn on the power again. Connect the AV device properly. Is the power of the AV device turned on? Turn on the power of the AV device and play the video. Are the correct signals being output from the AV device? Set the AV device properly. Is the setting of the input terminal correct? Set "COMP." and "HDMI" in the setting menu according to the input signal. Is the video image temporarily hidden? Press the [HIDE] button to display the video image again. Match the polarities ( or inserting the batteries. ) correctly when Are batteries exhausted? Replace with new batteries. Is there an obstructive object between the remote control and remote sensor? Is the remote control held too far away from the unit? Remove any obstructive objects. Hold the remote control closer to the sensor when using.
