General FM/AM Symptoms Causes Remedies • Sound cannot be heard The volume level is set to the from the speakers. minimum level. Adjust it to the optimum level. Connections are incorrect. Store stations manually. • Static noise while listening to the radio. The antenna is not connected firmly. Connect the antenna firmly. • CD automatically ejects. CD is inserted upside down. Insert the CD correctly. • CD-R/CD-RW cannot be played back. • Tracks on the CD-R/CDRW cannot be skipped. CD-R/CD-RW is not finalized. • Insert a finalized CD-R/CD-RW. • Finalize the CD-R/CD-RW with the component which you used for recording. • CD can be neither played back nor ejected. CD is locked. The CD player may function incorrectly. Unlock the CD. (See page 12.) While holding , press 0 for more than 2 seconds.
