DISPLAY REMOTE CONTROL SIGNAL RECEIVER '-TEMPERATURE SETTING • This button can automatically control the temperature of the room. The temperature can be set within a range of 64°F to 82°F. • Every time you push TEMP down button, it advances the Mode setting as flows: o(82OF)_ • o(76OF)_ oo•(70OF) • ••o (64°F). • Every time you push TEMP up button, it advances the Mode setting as flows: • ooo (64°F) _ o••(70°F) _ o• (76°F) (82 FI. --1 ITIMER OPERATION The timercan be usedto eitherturn on or turn off the air conditioner: -Timer function for yurningON the air conditioner: • With the POWERoff, press the timer button to the number of hours when you want the air conditioner to come on. This model will come on in either 1 hour, 3 hours,6 hours or in 10 hours. • o POWER • To turn the air conditioner ON, push the button. To turn the air conditioner OFF, push the button again. • This button takes priority over any other button. • When you first turn it on, the air conditioner is on the Highcool mode and the Temp. at 70 F. • If it is 7 am and you want the unit to come on at 5 pm pressthe timer buttontwice so that a '10' shows up in the control panel window. The unit will come on in 10 hours. You do not needto press the POWERbutton to turn on the unit. The timer function will turn it on automaticallyin 10 hours. -Timer function for turning OFF the air conditioner: • This function will work only when the unit is alreadyrunning and powered on.Selectthe number of hours you want to shut off time.If it is 9 pm at nightand you want the unit to shut off at 12 am (midnight),press the timer button twice so that a '3' shows up in the control panel window. The unit will shut off in 3 hours. • The timer function can be set in 1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour and 10 hour increments.Youcan set the unit to come on in 1 hour, 3 hours,6 hours or 10 hours which is the maximum delay time; or you can enter these same number of hours (maximumof 10 hours) unit the will shut off. • The delay timer functions to either turn on in a certain number of hours or turn off in a certain number of hours by manually inputtingthe number of hours. n --MODE • Every time you push this button, it will shift among COOL - HI, COOL - LOW, FAN ONLY - HI, FAN ONLY LOW. In failure of electric power, the unit runs as previous setting operation. } -11-

OPERATION

hours when you want the air conditioner to come on. This model
will come on in either 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours or in 10 hours.

POWER
• To turn the air conditioner ON, push the button.
To turn the air conditioner OFF, push
the button again.
• This button takes priority over any other button.
• When you first turn it on, the air conditioner is on
the Highcool mode and the Temp. at 70 F.
• If it is 7 am and you want the unit to come on at 5 pm pressthe timer button twice
so that a '10' shows up in the control panel window. The unit will come on in 10 hours.
You do not needto press the POWERbutton to turn on the unit. The timer function
will turn it on automaticallyin 10 hours.
-Timer function for turning OFF the air conditioner:
• This function will work only when the unit is already running and powered on.Selectthe number of hours you want
to shut off time.If it is 9 pm at nightand you want the unit to shut off at 12 am (midnight),press the timer button
twice so that a '3' shows up in the control panel window. The unit will shut off in 3 hours.
• The timer function can be set in 1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour and 10 hour increments.Youcan set the unit to come on in
1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours or 10 hours which is the maximum delay time; or you can enter these same number of
hours (maximumof 10 hours) unit the will shut off.
• The delay timer functions to either turn on in a certain number of hours or turn off in a certain number of hours by
manually inputting the number of hours.

In failure
