Setting Oven Controls Setting Convection Roast This method of cooking enables you to obtain the best results when roasting. The oven can be programmed to convection roast at any temperature from 170°F to 550°F (77°C to 288°C). Remember to use tested recipes with times adjusted for convection roasting when using the convection mode. Times may be reduced by as much as 30% when using the convection feature. This oven is equipped with multiple fan speeds for even cooking when baking and better tasting meats when roasting. It will use a faster fan speed for roasting which will quickly strip the cold air away from the meats replacing it with warm air (making a crisp outside type of searing) sealing in juices for better tasting meats. INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY To Set the oven to Convection Roast at 375°F 1. Arrange oven racks. 2. Press I_oas_,,"63_5i'0_". will be displayed; CONV ROAST will flash (Figure 1). Reoo_;'_ 3. The ido,_, CONV CONVERT pad is used to automatically convert a standard baking recipe for convection baking. When set properly, this feature is designed to display the actual converted (reduced) temperature in the display. Convection Convert may ONLY be used with a Conv Bake, Timed Cony Bake or a Delay Start (Delayed Timed Conv Bake) setting. When used with a Timed Bake or a Delay Start (Delayed Timed Bake) setting, the Convection Convert will display a "CF" for check food when the bake time is 75% complete (See Fig. 8). At this time the oven control will sound 3 long beeps at regular intervals until baking had finished. When the bake time has completely finished the control will A display "End" and will sound 3 long beeps every 30 seconds until the _TOP_pad is pressed. To change from a normal bake recipe to a convection bake recipe (example: changing a 400 ° (204°C) normal bake recipe to a convection bake recipe) When the conv bake mode is on at 400°F (204°C) (Figure 6), press _(n_wno__", ,,CONY BAKE" and the oven temperature adjustment will appear in the display (for this example it is 375°F). A beep will sound once the adjusted oven temperature is reached. The display will show "375 °'', "CONV BAKE" and the fan icon (Figure 7).
