FaBRI88aRE881TR@L For models with a Fabric Care control knob, you may use this control to select the drying temperature that matches the fabrics in your load. The following table lists suggested auto moisture or timed dry settings for various loads. This is only a guide. FABRIC CAREiTEMP CONTROL AIR FLUFF NO HEAT LOAD TYPE Rubber, plastic, heat-sensitive fabrics CYCLES SETTING Timed Dry TIMED DRY SETTING* 20-50 minutes ULTRA DELICATE EXTRA LOW Lightweight items - lingerie, blouses, dresses, synthetics, and blends Auto Moisture Sensing Plus Less Dry 20-40 minutes CASUAL MEDIUM Medium-weight items - synthetics (polyester, acrylic), skirts, sweaters, slacks Auto Moisture Sensing Plus Normal Dry 30-50 minutes NORMAL MEDIUM HIGH Medium-weight items - shirts, sheets, slacks, play clothes, cloth diapers Auto Moisture Sensing Plus Normal Dry 30-50 minutes Co'IrON/TOWELS HIGH Heavyweight items - quilts, towels, jeans, cottons, bedspreads Auto Moisture Sensing Plus More Dry 50-70 minutes *Reset time as needed to allow items completely. IIIIl IIIIITII (TIIII} IIITIII Auto Moisture Sensing Plus And Even Heat TM Even Heat TM improves drying performance with Auto Moisture Sensing Plus, which advances the cycle as moisture is extracted from clothing. A thermistor (electronic temperature sensor) and moisture sensing strips in the dryer drum help measure the amount of moisture in the clothes as they tumble. An electronic control determines the load type to help save time, avoid overdrying, and increase the accuracy of the end dryness level. Auto Moisture Sensing Plus takes the guesswork out of drying time and enhances fabric care. If the load is drier than you like, you may select a setting closer to Less Dry the next time you dry a similar load. If a load is not as dry as you like, you may complete drying using a Timed cycle. You may also select a setting closer to More Dry the next time you dry a similar load. Timed Dry This cycle may be used to get up to 90 minutes of heated drying time. The heating cycle is followed by a cool down period of up to 10 minutes. Touch Up This cycle may be used to help smooth synthetic and permanent press clothes that are clean but wrinkled from being crowded in a closet or suitcase. This setting provides about 20 minutes of heated tumbling followed by a cool down period of up to 10 minutes. The WRINKLE GUAREP feature helps smooth out wrinkles that may form when clothes are not removed promptly at the end of the cycle. WRIIRL£ llaRl III During WRINKLE GUARD ® III, the load will periodically stop and start for up to 90 minutes, without heat. WRINKLE GUARD ® III has a selectable n/Off option. If the knob is set to Off, the dryer stops after cool down and may be unloaded. 1 TE: The End of Cycle Signal will sound during the WRINKLE GUARD ® feature. If the End of Cycle Signal is turned to Off, no signal will sound. TIIIILESIIITINI - LIII IIY TIMES,LIAI NSTIIYINI Before you call service...check for the following. Is the lint screen clogged with lint? • Clean the lint screen before each load. Is the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood clogged with lint? • Lint should be cleaned out of the exhaust vent at least once every 2 years. See the Use and Care Guide for complete details.
