Transmitting data 4 4.5.6 Scan Settings - Separate Scan The scan operation can be divided into several sessions for various types of documents, for example, when all pages of a document cannot be loaded into the ADF, when placing the document on the original glass, or when single-sided documents are combined with double-sided documents. To specify this setting, touch [Separate Scan] to have the key label highlighted. 4.5.7 Background Removal Use this option to adjust the density of the original background during scanning. When colored paper is used for the original to be scanned, the background color may be scanned, and a result may be that the entire image is output in a dark color.
