Operation on the Machine > Loading Originals IMPORTANT • Do not push the document processor forcefully when you close it. Excessive pressure may crack the platen glass. • When placing books or magazines on the machine, do so with the document processor in the open position. Loading Originals in the Document Processor The document processor automatically scans each sheet of multiple originals. Both sides of two-sided originals are scanned. Originals left on the original eject table may cause the new originals to jam. • Do not make an impact on the document processor top cover, such as aligning the originals on the top cover.
