Part 9 OPERATING YOUR DRYER 9. Rack Dry The dryer rack is shipped in place in your dryer. Remove and discard any packing material before use. The RACK DRY is designed for use with items that you do not want to tumble dry, including sweaters and similar items. The heated dryer rack allows the heated air inside the dryer to flow in a concentrated pattern, allowing effective and consistent drying. Use RACK DRY to select the desired time. To use the RACK DRY • When drying washable wool items, block and shape the items to lay flat on the dryer rack. 1.Open the door. Hold the dryer rack with both hands. 2. Put the dryer rack into the drum 3. Make sure that dryer is evenly placed right onto the drum inside and door rim. NOTE: Check the lint screen and remove any lint accumulated from items dried on the rack. Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using the Air Dry temperature setting. Refer to the following table. • Start the dryer. 10. Beeper The BEEPER controls the volume of the beep that is made when you press any of the buttons on the control panel and the termination of any cycle is indicated. Press BEEPER to adjust the sound level or turn off the signal. 27
