LANGUAGE TO SET CLOCK CLOCK MENU CLOCK SET TIME SET USE ADJ USE ADJ TO CHOOSE TO CHANGE MANUAL 10:43 AM TIMER Clock Auto/Manual Operating Modes Setup 1 On the optional Installer's remote, use MENU and the ADJ Up/Down/Left/Right arrows to choose and set up the Clock menu options. 2 Use the number keypad, or the Left/Right ADJ arrows, to set the time. Use TIMER to set AM/PM. Clock Set Automatic: TV automatically sets the time. Time Zone: Installer can choose the time zone or have the TV set it automatically. Note: If analog and digital times on Ch-Time OSDs are not the same time, select your local time zone. Power TV Off/On, tune in your local analog PBS channel to reset clock. Day. Savings: Installer can choose to have daylight savings adjust the clock time one hour, or have the TV adjust it automatically. Manual: Installer sets the time on the clock. • Press OK repeatedly to remove menus. The clock can also be set using 24 hour "military time." For p.m. settings add 1200. For example, to set 6:30 p.m., add 1200 to 630, = enter 1830. For Auto Clock Set to work, the TV must be tuned to a local analog (not digital) PBS station. If the TV does not set the time, set the clock time manually. Clock time can be set using either the number keypad or the Left/Right ADJ arrows. Use TIMER to set AM/PM. Note: Analog and digital times shown on Ch-Time OSDs may vary by a few minutes. Mini Glossary TIME HOURS MINUTES TIMER A four-digit figure broken down into hours and minutes, used for entering the time when setting the clock or programming timers. First two digits that are entered when setting the clock or programming timers. The last two digits that are entered when setting the clock or programming timers.
