4. Troubleshooting Key Function Problems Make a general visual inspection for corrosion or oxidation from liquid damage. Turn the phone on. Go to service test menu; choose "5.Keypad". Press all the buttons. The pressed key will be shown in the Main display. Check that the mechanical response feels normal and that all the keys had been shown in the Main display. Key Function Problems
Make a general visual inspection for corrosion or oxidation from liquid damage.

If no communication is accomplished with the system connector:

oxidized. Replace it if necessary.
