Accounts & sync This menu allows you to manage your account and synchronization settings. Background data - Permits applications to synchronize data in the background, whether or not you are actively working in them. Unchecking this setting can save battery power and lowers (but does not eliminate) data use. Auto-sync - Permits applications to synchronize, send, and receive data on their own schedule. Social+ Settings - You can update your status simultaneously by checking the SNS services you want to upload from Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. < Manage accounts > Displays a list of all Google accounts and other accounts you've added to your phone. <General sync settings >
Background data
– Permits applications to
synchronize data in the background, whether or not
you are actively working in them. Unchecking this
setting can save battery power and lowers (but does
not eliminate) data use.
Auto-sync
– Permits applications to synchronize,
send, and receive data on their own schedule.

Social+ Settings
– You can update your status
