REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION HANDLE REMOVAL (Identify your handle type) You may have to remove the door handles to move the refrigerator through a narrow opening. See instructions below. NOTE: To avoid damaging door surfaces when moving the refrigerator through narrow openings, it is ALWAYS recommended to remove the doors as instructed in the next two pages. • Grasp the handle tigthtly with both hands and slide the handle up (1) (this may required some force). • The keyhole slots (2) on the back of the handle allow the handle to separate from the mounting screws (3). • Loosen the set screws with a 3/32" (2.38 mm) Allen wrench and remove the handle. NOTE: If the handle mounting fasteners need to be tightened or moved, use a ¼" (6.35 mm) Allen wrench. Mounting fasteners C A U T I O N : It could be damaged and broken when you hit with hammer while you remove and attach the handle.
