Getting Started with Your Phone The Battery NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. The battery charge level is shown at the top of the LCD screen. Installing the Battery To install the battery, insert the edge with the battery contacts into the opening on the back of the phone. Push the battery down until it clicks into place, then attach the back cover. Removing & Installing the battery cover You need to remove the back cover before you can install the battery and micro SD card on your phone. Also, make sure to always turn off the power before installing or replacing a battery. To remove the back cover Removing the Battery Turn power off and slide the back cover down to remove it. Use the fingertip cutout at the edge of the battery to lift the edge of the battery to remove it. 1. Hold the phone securely with both hands (as demonstrated). 2. Push the back cover up with your thumb until it disengages from the phone and then slide it up to remove. 24

The Battery
NOTE
It is important to fully charge the
battery before initial use of the
phone.
The phone comes with a
rechargeable battery. The battery
charge level is shown at the top of
the LCD screen.
Installing the Battery
To install the battery, insert the edge
with the battery contacts into the
opening on the back of the phone.
Push the battery down until it clicks into
place, then attach the back cover.
Removing the Battery
Turn power off and slide the back
cover down to remove it. Use the
fingertip cutout at the edge of the
battery to lift the edge of the
battery to remove it.
Removing & Installing the battery

You need to remove the back cover
before you can install the battery
