This feature also allows the drive to manage power consumption. If the system's power fan supports it, the LaCie d2 Quadra will spin down while in power save mode. The d2 Quadra will then take several seconds to spin up to full power. 4 eSATA Port - This is where you plug in the eSATA cable furnished with the drive.
