Connect the Power supply cable (page 15) and turn on the LaCie d2 Quadra Hard Drive by flipping the power switch to ON or AUTO (drive powers on/ hibernates automatically; available only for USB/ FireWire connections). 2. Connect the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable into the HiSpeed USB 2.0 port on the back of the LaCie d2 Quadra Hard Drive (A). 3. Attach the other end of the interface cable to an available USB port on your computer (B). Technical note: To achieve Hi-Speed USB 2.0 transfer rates, you have to be connected to a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port on your computer. Otherwise, you will be limited to USB 1.1 data transfer rates.
