Lantronix SISGM1040-284-LRT Web User Guide Maintenance > Firmware > Firmware Upgrade The Software Upload page lets you update the firmware controlling the switch. Warning: While the firmware is being updated, Web UI access appears to be defunct. The switch front panel LED flashes Green/Off with a frequency of 10 Hz while the firmware update is in progress. Do not restart or power off the device at this time or the switch may fail to function afterwards. Choose File: Click and browse to the location of a software image (e.g., LTRX-SISGM1040-284LRT_7.20.0.R0119.dat). Upload: With a proper Firmware File chosen and displayed, click the Upload button. After the software image is uploaded, a page announces that the firmware update is in progress. After about a minute, the firmware is updated and the switch restarts.
