3: Using DeviceInstaller ID Hardware Address Firmware Version Extended Firmware Version Online Status IP Address IP Address was Obtained Subnet Mask Gateway Number of Ports Supports Configurable Pins Supports Email Triggers Telnet Enabled Telnet Port Web Enabled Web Port Firmware Upgradable Shows the XPort AR ID embedded within the unit. Shows the XPort AR hardware (MAC) address. Shows the firmware currently installed on the XPort AR. Provides additional information on the firmware version. Shows the XPort AR status as Online, Offline, Unreachable (the XPort AR is on a different subnet), or Busy (the XPort AR is currently performing a task). Shows the XPort AR current IP address. To change the IP address, click the Assign IP button on the DeviceInstaller menu bar. Displays "Dynamically" if the XPort AR automatically received an IP address (e.g., from DHCP). Displays "Statically" if the IP address was configured manually. If the IP address was assigned dynamically, the following fields appear: Obtain via DHCP with values of True or False. Obtain via BOOTP with values of True or False. Shows the subnet mask specifying the network segment on which the XPort AR resides. Shows the IP address of the router of this network. There is no default. Shows the number of serial ports on this XPort AR. Shows True, indicating configurable pins are available on the XPort AR. Shows True, indicating email triggers are available on the XPort AR. Indicates whether Telnet is enabled on this XPort AR. Shows the XPort AR port for Telnet sessions. Indicates whether Web Manager access is enabled on this XPort AR. Shows the XPort AR port for Web Manager configuration. Shows True, indicating the XPort AR firmware is upgradable as newer versions become available. XPort AR User Guide 20
