7. Align the notch of the DDR3 SDRAM with the protrusion of the socket and gently insert the DDR3 SDRAM into the socket at a 30-45° angle. Then push the DDR3 SDRAM inward toward the socket until the latches on both edges of the socket are pushed into the closed position. 8. Reinstall the compartment cover and tighten the screws. 9. Reinstall the battery pack. 10. Turn the computer over again. Connect the ac power adapter and the cables to the computer again. Note: If only one DDR3 SDRAM is used on the computer you are servicing, the card must be installed in SLOT-0 ( a : lower slot), but not in SLOT-1 ( b : upper slot).
