Liquid crystal display (LCD) notice CAUTION The fluorescent lamp in the liquid crystal display contains mercury; dispose according to local, state, or federal laws. The LCD is made of glass, and rough handling or dropping the computer can cause the LCD to break. If the LCD breaks and the internal fluid gets into your eyes or on your hands, immediately wash the affected areas with water for at least 15 minutes; if any symptoms are present after washing, get medical care. Using headphones or earphones If your computer has both a Headphone connector and an Audio-out connector, always use the headphone connector for headphones (also called a headset) or earphones. Excessive use of headphones or earphones for a long period of time at high volume can be dangerous if the headphones or earphones do not comply with specifications of EN 50332-2. The EN 50332-2 specification limits audio devices to 100 dB sound pressure to help protect against hearing loss. If your Lenovo computer came with headphones or earphones, the headphones or earphones comply with the specifications of EN 50332-2.
