Values: On Off Auto* Printer performs NPA processing. If data is not in NPA format, it is rejected as bad data. Printer does not perform NPA processing. Printer examines the data to determine the format and then processes it appropriately. Note: Changing this menu item automatically resets the printer. USB Buffer Purpose: To configure the size of the USB input buffer. Values: Disabled Auto* 3K to maximum size allowed Job buffering is disabled. Any jobs already buffered on the disk are printed before normal processing of incoming jobs resumes. Printer automatically calculates the USB Buffer size (recommended setting). User specifies the USB Buffer size. The maximum size depends on the amount of memory in your printer, the size of the other link buffers, and whether Resource Save is set to On or Off. To maximize the range for the USB Buffer size, disable or reduce the size of the parallel, serial, and network buffers. Note: Changing the USB Buffer menu item automatically resets the printer.
