Physical Page Full Page The printable area is the physical page (edge to edge). The physical page printable area is reported to the host. Note: The Lexmark T65x and X65xde printers can physically print edge to edge. The logical page is not clipped. The Lexmark W850 and X86xde printers can physically print edge to edge. When using "2400 Image Q" print resolution, the maximum width that can be printed is approximately 11.3 inches (287 mm). Edge to edge printing is not supported on A3, A4 long edge fed, or Universal media size greater than approximately 11.3 inches (287 mm) when using "2400 Image Q" resolution. The job is formatted for a page using a printable area of edge to edge. When the page is printed, the page image is compressed approximately 2% in both the horizontal and vertical directions and is centered on the page. Note: Full Page is supported on the T65x, W850 printers and the X65xde, X86xde MFPs only. On the T65x printers and X65xde MFPs Full Page is supported on IPDS code level 4.00-133 and above. Selecting Full Page may decrease performance. 4028 Whole Page 4028 Print Page The printable area for the media loaded is reported to the host. A printable area that more closely matches the values reported by the IBM 4028 printer is reported. Clipping occurs if data is printed outside the printable area. All four edges will be clipped. The right and bottom edges will be clipped. 3.3.11 Exception Control It is often practical to suppress exception reporting on undefined characters and on position errors (printing outside the valid printable area, VPA). This option overrides the Exception Handling Control in the IPDS data stream. Report All* No suppression of exceptions. Exception reporting is controlled by the IPDS data stream. Sup Beyond VPA Exception reporting on position errors (outside VPA) is suppressed. The printer IPDS emulation will print the IPDS job but not report "08C1" printable area exceptions or "0411" bar code exceptions to the host. Sup Undef Char If an undefined character is found, exception reporting is suppressed. The printer IPDS emulation will print the IPDS job but not report "0821" undefined character exceptions to the host. Suppress Both Both position errors and undefined character exceptions are suppressed. 25
