3.3.18 Print Resource List This option prints a list of the following resources: • All resident fonts • All captured bitmap, Type 1 and TrueType fonts • All captured data objects (Refer to "RESOURCE CAPTURE Menu Options" on page 45 on how to enable Resource Capture.) Yes Print IPDS resource list. No Do not print IPDS resource list. Printing an IPDS resource list will delete any IPDS resources stored in the printer memory. A "Printer Reset" Nack will be returned to the host and the resources will be downloaded again. Note: This function can not be operated remotely. 3.3.19 Trace Functions This option determines if the Trace function is enabled. Trace data is sent to the selected port. This option is usually only operated by service personnel for trouble shooting purposes. When this feature is enabled, the IPDS emulation will attempt to make contact with an externally connected trace program, which is provided for technical service only. Enabling this option without having a computer running the trace program attached to the port selected to receive the trace data, the printer may hang with IPDS or BUSY displayed. Print performance may be degraded when the trace function is active. During printing the front panel will indicate that the Trace Function is active. Disable* USB Std. Output Disable Trace. Enable the standard USB port (port on rear of printer) for trace data output. Note: This function can not be operated remotely. 3.3.20 IPDS Version This option displays the current IPDS firmware version / level. Note 1: This option can not be used remotely. Note 2: The IPDS level is also shown on the printed Menu Settings Page. It is found as "IPDS Emulation" under the Device Information heading. See Printing the Menu Settings Page (printers) on page 14 or Printing the Menu Settings Page (MFPs) on page 17. 29
