3.4.3 OTHER ENV SIZE The IPDS emulation uses the envelope size setting specified in the printer menu to determine the envelope size loaded. The envelope size is returned to the host. A printer envelope size of "Other Envelope" may be selected in some printer menus when a non-standard size envelope is loaded into a non-size sensing tray or feeder. This option allows you to specify the envelope size returned to the host when "Other Envelope" is selected in the printer menu as the envelope size. The envelope size is specified in 300 dots per inch. See the conversion example for UNIVERSAL SIZE (section 3.4.2). Important: A 34 Incorrect Media or paper jam message may be displayed if printing occurs past the length of the physical envelope. You must specify the actual envelope size to avoid incorrect text positioning or clipping of text. Some printers do not report an error when the size is incorrect and the text is clipped.
