Chapter 3 OnBoard 1394 Device This setting controls the onboard 1394 device. Settings: Disabled, S200, S400. On-Chip IDE This setting controls the on-chip IDE controller. Setting options: Disabled, Primary, Secondary, Both. Set Super I/O Press to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears: FDC Function This is used to enable or disable the onboard Floppy controller. Option Auto Enabled Disabled Description BIOS will automatically determine whether to enable the onboard Floppy controller or not. Enables the onboard Floppy controller. Disables the onboard Floppy controller. Serial Port 1/2 These items specify the base I/O port addresses of the onboard Serial Port 1 (COM A)/Serial Port 2 (COM B).
