MS-7636 ▶ VGA Port The DB15-pin female connector is provided for monitor. ▶ HDMI Port (optional) The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is an all-digital audio/video interface capable of transmitting uncompressed streams. HDMI supports all TV format, including standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. ▶ DVI Port (optional) The DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connector allows you to connect a LCD monitor. It provides a high-speed digital interconnection between the computer and its display device. To connect an LCD monitor, simply plug your monitor cable into the DVI connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable is properly connected to your monitor (refer to your monitor manual for more information.) Important The VGA, HDMI and DVI display interfaces on the mainboard are designed to serve as IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) used. If you installed a processor without integrated graphics chip, these display ports will have no effect. ▶ Audio Ports These audio connectors are used for audio devices. It is easy to differentiate between audio effects according to the color of audio jacks. ■ Line-In: Blue - Line In, is used for external CD player, tape-player or other audio devices. ■ Line-Out: Green - Line Out, is a connector for speakers or headphones. ■ Mic: Pink - Mic, is a connector for microphones. ■ RS-Out: Black (optional) - Rear-Surround Out in 4/ 5.1/ 7.1 channel mode. ■ CS-Out: Orange (optional)- Center/ Subwoofer Out in 5.1/ 7.1 channel mode. ■ SS-Out: Gray (optional)- Side-Surround Out 7.1 channel mode. Important To reach the 8-channel sound effect, the 7th and 8th channels must be output from front panel if you purchase the mainboard with 3 audio jacks. 2-11

HDMI Port (opt±onal)
The H±gh-Defin±t±on Mult±med±a Interface (HDMI) ±s an all-d±g±tal aud±o/v±deo ±nterface
capable of transm±tt±ng uncompressed streams. HDMI supports all TV format, ±nclud±ng
standard, enhanced, or h±gh-defin±t±on v±deo, plus mult±-channel d±g±tal aud±o on a s±ngle
cable.
DVI Port (opt±onal)
The DVI (D±g±tal V±sual Interface) connector allows you to connect a LCD mon±tor. It
prov±des a h±gh-speed d±g±tal ±nterconnect±on between the computer and ±ts d±splay
dev±ce. To connect an LCD mon±tor, s±mply plug your mon±tor cable ±nto the DVI
connector, and make sure that the other end of the cable ±s properly connected to your
mon±tor (refer to your mon±tor manual for more ±nformat±on.)
Important
The VGA, HDMI and DVI d±splay ±nterfaces on the ma±nboard are des±gned to serve
as IGP (Integrated Graph±cs Processor) used. If you ±nstalled a processor w±thout
±ntegrated graph±cs ch±p, these d±splay ports w±ll have no effect.
Aud±o Ports
These aud±o connectors are used for aud±o dev±ces. It ±s easy to d±fferent±ate between
aud±o effects accord±ng to the color of aud±o jacks.
L±ne-In: Blue - L±ne In, ±s used for external CD player, tape-player or other aud±o
dev±ces.
L±ne-Out: Green - L±ne Out, ±s a connector for speakers or headphones.
M±c: P±nk - M±c, ±s a connector for m±crophones.
