▍ Hardware Setup Slot PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Express Slot The PCI Express slots support PCI-E interface expansion cards. PCI Express x8 slot PCI Express x16 slot (The PCIE4 slot supports up to PCIE x16 speed when the PCIE3 slot is empty. When PCIE4 & PCIE3 slots are both occupied, the supported speed will be PCIE x8 for each slot.) PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Slot The PCI slot supports LAN card, SCSI card, USB card, and other add-on cards that comply with PCI specifications. 32-bit PCI slot Important When adding or removing expansion cards, make sure that you unplug the power supply first. Meanwhile, read the documentation for the expansion card to configure any necessary hardware or software settings for the expansion card, such as jumpers, switches or BIOS configuration. 2-16
