MS-S0101 Slot Golden Finger This golden finger supports one PCIE x8 and one PCIE x4 interface. PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Express Slot The PCI Express slot supports PCI-E interface expansion cards. PCI Express x4 slot Mini PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Slot Mini PCI devices were developed such as Wi-Fi, Fast Ethernet, Bluetooth, modems (often Winmodems), sound cards, cryptographic accelerators, SCSI, IDE- ATA, SATA controllers and combination cards. Mini PCI cards can be used with regular PCI-equipped hardware, using Mini PCI-to-PCI converters. Important When adding or removing expansion cards, make sure that you unplug the power supply first. Meanwhile, read the documentation for the expansion card to configure any necessary hardware or software settings for the expansion card, such as jumpers, switches or BIOS configuration. 2-23
