MS-7588 Solving a Mirror Conflict A Mirror conflict occurs when both disks in a RAID 1 (Mirror) configuration are unplugged from the system in turn, then plugged in again. Since both disks contain exactly the same data, the system will be unable to determine which of the two is the source drive. This option allows you to set the source drive and rebuild the Mirror drive according to the contents of the source drive. To solving a Mirror conflict: Select "Solving a Mirror Conflict" and press . In the Hard Disk Driver List menu use key to select the disks you want to set as source drive. Using the , move to the RAID Disk Drive List menu and highlight the RAID set that you want to rebuild. Press to begin rebuilding the Mirror configuration. A status bar at the bottom of the screen shows the progress of the rebuilding. D-9

Solv±ng a M±rror Confl±ct
A M±rror confl±ct occurs when both d±sks ±n a RAID 1 (M±rror) configurat±on are un-

the same data, the system w±ll be unable to determ±ne wh±ch of the two ±s the source
dr±ve. Th±s opt±on allows you to set the source dr±ve and rebu±ld the M±rror dr±ve accord-
±ng to the contents of the source dr±ve.
To solv±ng a M±rror confl±ct:
Select “Solv±ng a M±rror Confl±ct” and press <Enter>. In the Hard D±sk Dr±ver L±st menu
use <Space> key to select the d±sks you want to set as source dr±ve. Us±ng the <TAB>,
move to the RAID D±sk Dr±ve L±st menu and h±ghl±ght the RAID set that you want to
rebu±ld. Press <Del> to beg±n rebu±ld±ng the M±rror configurat±on.
